I'm glad you're liking it guys
I finished tweaking the uvw of the gun and base but for I'm going to leave it at that. I want to speed up a bit and get the Heracles presentable. When I'll be a close-up beauty shot I can always go back and update the textures.

In the meantime here's what I'm texturing at the moment...

Thanks I-D!
Well, there are about 5 of those packs currently on the flank of the bow. I'll probably add some more on other locations.

Very nice Meph, it looks just about right with this ammount of CIWS...

Cheers guys!

@Chrono: Hehehe, yeah, it'd be nasty I sure didn't want to make an impervious vessel, it needed some weak spots. And still.... with the CIWS ammo being on the outside, sure it's more vulnerable tio enemy fire but also less likely to severly damage the vessel if one should go with a bang. The short range missile launchers have decent armour and it's just the launch tubes that stick out. the ammo is well behind armoured plating. But still... every ace attacking the Heracles should at least deserve a chance for a satisfying pot shot if they maken it through the defensive fire

Here's a biggie render I made today.
