I think the set up you got now works best. the you-mock-me-I-take-out-your-reactor-with-one-shot gun, up front with the dual, smaller calibre you-mock-me-I-put-your-ship-full-of-holes turret behind it.

Or maybe put the you-mock-me-I-put-your-ship-full-of-holes turret in front and the you-mock-me-I-take-out-your-reactor-with-one-shot gun behind it. That might bring it's barrels into same line which might result in more aggrasive look

I would keep both guns - they look like a typical battleship complement of primary and secondary batteries to me.

hmm, I like the single barrel one more, but the dual barrel is definately cool too. Maybe put two single barrel on the front and the primary offensive battery and have a few of the smaller two barrel elsewhere on the ship?

I like both guns but I think Tinukedaya has a good point, could we see a render of how that would look Please

the only other way that I might have it is to have two large dual barrel guns but that might be a little over kill

@Ice-Dragon: LOL, yeah... "Err Captain, sir.. did you actually like the moon? I kinda sneezed while i was calibrating the main guns sir..."
@Berkut: Good idea actually!

Well, In any case here are two rail gun shuffles. one with two large ones, one of the turrets was sub-D'd, the other not, let me know which one looks best.

The second pic with the turrets changed place as per Tinukedaya's suggestion.

The two big guns look better IMO than the single big gun and the little gun turret.

Hmm I guess you shall increase the caliber of the double, to make it look more .... uhm... dangerous.. and prolong the barrel of the sniper turret. right now the first pic looks better.

gotta agree with cavebear, I like the single gun arrangement. I think the mixed arrangement somewhy looks like only one gun was intended to be there and the 2nd turret is an afterthought. I think the non subdivided turret looks better.
