Looks nice, but those light blue supports are a bit strange.

Nice work! Quite a bit different than the actual Ent-B bridge but still looks good.

Please put credits on the image itself for any borrowed parts (per forum rules). Looks good otherwise, but you may want to tweak your antialias settings.

I believe the original TOS and TMP bridge sets were redressed into the TNG Battle-Bridge. They were then redressed to make the ST:VI and Ent B bridge sets, and later on the "Flashback" and "Prometheas" sets. Its amazing what you could do with such a room built on a soundstage, really

The Enterprise Bridge in ST VI and the Excelsior had deck plating instead of carpets, so i guess the Excelsior Refit is the first ship onwards to have a cushy ground to fall onto when you get knocked out your seat lol

Sorry to go so long with no updates, the week got just insane. Anyways, I've been tweaking it and I think I've got it pretty much finished:

It took me forever to figure out how they did that floor, and it wasn't until I saw homerpalooza's post that I realized the obvious: I could use screencaps from STVI to help with the floors and other details, since they didn't have many wide shots in ST7. This one looks MUCH better I think than the previous one. Also, fixed some lighting issues in the turbolift alcoves, as well as tweaked the ambience so it would look a little more like the real bridge set. The biggest change is that I've got some more LCARS graphics on the displays--variety truly IS the spice of life haha. Hopefully no one will look too closely and notice that a bunch of them (especially the sensor scans) are from the 1701-A since I couldn't find many 1701-B specific graphics. Also, the ceiling is a bit lower here, I finally realized that part of my lighting problem was that the lights themselves were too high. Also just touched up some colors here and there. Still adding in some detail around the turbolift doors (those chrome-plated fire extinguishers are just too cool), but for the most part this one's done. What do you guys think?

Now THIS, as Greg House would say, is the MONEY SHOT. In the project the ship is at red alert to chase my shuttle, so of course I had to make a second version of it just for that occasion. As soon as I saw this all my hard work became worth it--I thought at first that the VOY-era uniforms would look odd here, but they actually fit in (the "present day" part of this film takes place post-Insurrection so we'll see LCARS and uniforms appropriate for that era; I figured older uniforms and older graphics would help visually set it apart). I'm still working on the lighting so that it's a little more obvious there's crewmembers at the side stations (I think I just need to turn up the intensity of the lights above each station to fix that), but for the most part she's finished. What do you guys think?

And just for the "How cool is that?" factor, I preent a ST7-style turbolift, complete with an MSD guide. What's interesting to note about all this is that although the ship is Dawnstar-class, all the MSD's show the Ambassador--the two are visually similar enough that I can call it a refit, since there's precedent for that in STIII when Chekov says "Admiral, this is not possible!" and turns around to look at the pre-refit schematic. It's sort of an in-joke but you get the basic idea.

I'm rendering a shot looking over the captain's shoulder towards the viewscreen, that'll be along shortly.

What do you guys think?

nice but you still need credits for the parts you used on the image.
