I never thought this had a totally flat hull - I think you should slope it to the sides, personally. Lacks a bit of character front-on. But the style and design otherwise are excellent.

Really nice design Severus, I like the superstructure a lot, and the arrangement of the sensor domes in particular. The side turrets look good, and well placed with their firing arcs. I like your model a lot

Thanks for the compliments guys. The sides actually do slope slightly, not much, but that was the way I intended it. The idea is that if an ISD is a battleship, then the Tormentor is akin to a heavy cruiser, so I don't want it to be too massive. Admittedly the front is my least favorite angle to view the ship, but what can I say, I'm a butt man.

I managed to do a little bit of work between viewings of The Dark Knight. Changed the panels on the upper hull completely, made a couple of cut outs and added a supersized grill to the back end. Added some pipes to the main guns and changed their arrangement, again. Now I'm going to concentrate on the gun belt or trench or whetever its called.

Wow it's looking better and better ! From the side it really looks aggressive.
Are you going to texture this beast ? I know there are enough details to leave it as it is but if you textured it, the Tormentor would be immediately one of the most impressive fan-made SW ships (as far as I have seen at least).

Fitter, Happier And More Productive ...

Wow, that's a fantastic model. Keep it up.
When you're finished with modeling, texturing is going to be the "easiest" part of it.

Work is still progressing on the gun belt details but I decided to take a break from that to have some fun. None of the ships lights were on and I'm going to revisit this scene later but I was looking at some pics of an Iowa class battleship firing its main guns and decided to make a Tormentor version. Anyway, back to work...

That think is getting better and better.
Do you plan to do some little animation? Being a big star wars fan, I imagine some pirates doing a frontal attack with modified Arcs, firing all their proton torpedoes (I'm not shure if the Arcs do have some) onto the ships, in order to collapse the shields and do damage to the ship itself. Throw in some frigates and you get an awesome battle
