Max Stargate

Well I know that there are a lot of different stargate in this forum but I just wanted to show mine (It's from 3ds Max 9 and it's my first one). I'm still having problems (like textures: Stargate Textures)
and with the chevron lights (I still don't know how to use the lights)
I can use some help (please).

Well the event horizon is an .avi file with the kawoosh (used as a texture) and just moved the time slider to the final frame. But I'm still working on a nice event horizon so I used this one instead.

you still need to put the credit on the image per forum rules.

Nice start though. Lights are tricky to me in Max, I'm used to working with lights in Lightwave.

Well, it's been a long time (I had a break). But I've updated the Stargate, also added my own event horizon (from the Stargate Textures thread) and glow effects on the chevrons. I'm going to work on the textures and change the glyphs.

Talking

Update: new glow colors and new glyphs (filled the gaps). Still not the reflection (higher multiplier only makes it brighter). Currently working on the textures.
