Definite improvement.
BUT you really need to move the light, so that it illuminates from an angle (to the camera)... not from right behind the camera - NOTHING looks good in that kind of light.

It will also make it easier to judge how things like specularity should be adjusted. Try lighting the planet completely from the side. Also eliminate all ambient light. (both global and material settings, if available)
