Think the 1st sentence in my post but in caps and a #@$#load of "!"s after it It's kinda the best out there
I'm not on the development team for the XTM mod but I do support it, I am on the development team for Battlestar Galactica "Cry of the Gods", a Total Conversion Mod for X³: Reunion. there is a link in my sig

A small update(added some windows and lowered the specularity level a bit, still not completely satisfied with the lightning though):

Now I really gotta go to sleep...

blender Rev 20 final

Just realised that I haven't been posting any updates on my WIP here lately...
Anyways, it's pretty much finished(listed as such in the blenderartists forums), I might revise the materials/textures, but I've been working on a project for the BWC the last week so I've pretty much abandoned the battlecruiser. Anyways, here we go:

Rendered with the internal engine(different bumpmap on the big parts of the ship due to some problems...):

Rendered with a simple texture and a brighter material:

Rendered in Yafray(front look only, just to show the original bumpmap, it's kinda dark though):

Now, here's a wallpaper of sorts that I made. The original name for it was "Tarsonis Aftermath" and the city was supposed to be destroyed, however my comp could barely take this and therefore I decided not to touch it anymore(I've got some plans for it, but time will tell):
