Interesting, but it does look more warlike to me than hospital like, so i'm going to counter vote and say make it a warship, and pit some big arse uber guns on those 2 slots on the sides

I like the idea of versatile chasis so my vote is for do a hospital and gun ship version. I think this beaut would serve both purposes very well!

How about a 3rd version

A missile boat. Put missile launch doors along the ribbed section, place defense turrets in the sections below the bridge on either side and at the bow of the ship. Missile turrets behind the ribbed section and in front of the bridge. Here are some real life ideas

hey guys,

thanks for your suggestions. also for the hospital-ship votes but i would prefer the LAC-version of these ...hum..THING

the boat got some guns i made this morning.
the missile-launcher had to wait untill i finished some minor repairs in the riped-section.

as you can see i added a dummy for size comparsion, very helpfull for myself, so i noticed the overall length of this boat is not more then 85 metres.

ooo 85 meters huh, then Fleet Hospital Ship is out of the question. Well a Nimitz Class Carrier is around 333(1092 ft.) meters. And this a space vessele I would go with a Frigate style.

Excellent work on the turrets, but I'm concerning about the ability to fire directly forward. It looks like they don't clear the cut-out.

Hi,

that's why i have installed them on a "lifting-turret".

Maybe i am not right but to attac the turret will lift up *compare the pictures* so the angle of fire will be enlarged. Otherwise it is in parking-position *first picture*

anyway, thanks for reply.

Maybe it like the old days where you'd have to turn a side to the enemy to fire?

I mean not all "futuristic" space craft got warp 9.99 and can shoot 360 degrees while FTL with lasers
