| Things were heating up here in Massachusetts and had to give the AC's and computers a break for a few hours so I though I'd go back a few years and break out the lego's. OK fine, Ill be honest.... I never stopped playing with Lego's..... no complaining about the lack of curves. 21st century Lego technology just isn't the same as the 24th.btw... it's not done. Needs nacelles and detailing. |

| SFM Oracle | Detailings? How'e you intending to give it details at this size? btw, I also still use LEGO, especially for modeling. (AFAIK, many do, even in professions companies) |

| Update number 2 Added pulse phaser emitters to the front of the nacelles. These phasers are much more powerful than those found on Defiant class escorts. They directly feed off of drive plasma, and are regulated by independent phase coils, greatly increasing firepower and range. |

| SFM Oracle | Yet only facing forward with a maximum off-axis of about 10°, I presume? A bit senseless to put pulse phasers in there. Might be very effectifel, with a smaller vessel, but a beast of space that has a rather slower turn rate and needs to wait for an enemy vessel to get into the range of fire, this is energy waste. btw, I see that your nacelles are "split". Curious why? |

| The pulse phasers are mainly and anti-borg weapon. Don't need much firing angle to hit a giant cube.... Each volly is fired at random frequencies. This bombards their shields with so much random energy that (hopefully) the shields fail. The nacelles are spit to provide redundancy to the warp field grid. this allows the ship to establish a warp field easier, or if the primary field grid is damaged, the redundant grid can be used exclusively. The secondary field grid an also be modified to act as a tertiary deflector field for a low warp escape if the primary and secondary dishes are damaged. The underlying design of this ship is redundancy. Even some backup systems have backups and some systems can be modified to act as other systems. Wouldn't you love if your spare tire could be modifed into a radiator when your engine boils over? Don't worry I'm not going to keep going to far with that idea or I'd end up with a holographic ship that could do anything whenever one wanted. |

| SFM Oracle | Ah, nice idea, now I see the point. Well, AFAIK, the pulse phasers were originally designed as anti-Borg, aye? |
