| USS Avenger NX 81299 Been really busy but I thought I'd take the time to post my revamped Avenger Class starship. Build from the ground up. Haven't had 5 minutes to learn Blender like I want to, so I've stuck messing around with Sketchup. Still a ways from perfect but I'm proud of her considering 6 months ago, I had no experience modeling! |

| The Nimitz is sort of on the back burner for now. We just moved to a bigger apartment in our building so we are still sorting the mess. I am determined to finish Avenger. I have to many unfinished projects and I'll be damned if Avenger is one of them. I lost all my math calculations, but I believe she is around 30 decks and almost 1100 meters long. I could be wrong though. |

| Avenger is my cruiser, and Nimitz is my carrier. The problem I seem to have now is that I think Avenger is bigger than Nimitz. Oh well I'll figure that out. I also have an unnamed destroyer similar in style to the Dauntless NX 01-A. I'm also trying out different scout/escort models that haven't made it past initial designing. Then there is the tactical assault craft (fighter) that hasn't gotten off the ground yet as I want that to be perfect. |

| One new concept i will be introducing with Avenger is decoy lifeboats. These lifeboats launch at the same time as normal lifeboats. The decoys can maneuver towards enemy ships, lock on with tractor beams and explode. This will distract enemy ships in an attempt to give manned lifeboats more time to escape. Decoys are identical in size and shape and using the same neutronium hull armor, cannot be scanned. Being the same size, they can be deployed in different configurations as to lack any sort of pattern. This makes it very difficult to target one or the other specifically. |

| Decoy lifeboats thats actually a good idea, I've would of never thought of something like. That will give the ships crew a fighting chance. I wonder what other ideas are burning in that brain of yours!  Again good idea!  |
