Ok here's a better update I paid my friend a visit yesterday and had him do some textures for my ship (photoshop is a good thing ). Here's what we came up with.

Only the vertical "wing" is textured so far but it's because I'm still not finished with the other wings.

Thanks I think you're right about the dark areas - I'll lighten them up as soon as I'll get back to the model.

Well, almost She was the one Luke used to escape the second Death Star. She wasn't extremely beat up but after 25 years she got a bit rusty
Here's a better preview of the model. Right now I'm doing details for the bottom and rear of the ship so I don't know when they will be textured ...

Thanks. To tell you the truth I'm not 100% happy with those textures and I think I will have to modify them a bit ... but before that, I have to add all the details I didn't do ...

A little update on the textures. I'm a bit busy doing other stuff (in 3D and in "real world") so the progress isn't very fast but believe me, she will be finished soon

There are numerous things i see "wrong" with your version of the Lambda class shuttle just by looking at 1 reference photo

Your model is'nt bad it's just inaccurate. Have a better look at reference material you have.
