What !?
Uh I mean ... thanks

I'm going to US for a month so I probably won't post anything from tuesday to thursday. Anyway, here's a test for side panel textures for my AT Unit

Oh and why no one told me that the hangar is too small for the AT Unit !?
I will have to do a new hangar for it ... and something to fit to the hangar. Maybe a new TIE unit. (and a fuel stack and transport for the pilot and control tower ... )

nice shuttle..but to innacurate for my taste. you have lots of issues with the panels on the wing, the cockpit is just not the right shape, paint job does'nt look anything like it should be realy.

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

Yes, I'm aware of the imperfections To tell you the truth I abandoned the shuttle as soon as I started the landing pad. Once I'm finished with modelling the AT Unit I will go back to the Lambda and upgrade it (it will need a lot of it). I won't change any geometry because I don't need to do an exact replica. Anyway, the cockpit may look a bit strange on the wallpaper but it's pretty much the same as it is on the reference material I have (so I probably got some inacuratte orthos).
When it comes to the panels you may be right because I forgot to chamfer the edges and make them thinner (although I did that on the vertical "wing" when you told me about it before). I think I will have to rebuild it from scratch once I get back to it.
Oh and the paint ... it's there just because I wanted to finish the model quickly. I wanted it to be a bit more rusty than the original one so I just added random stuff on it.
Thanks for the comment Notes are already taken and I promise to fix all the bugs on my models.

Update for the AT Unit and "road"

Oh and I redid the textures on the AT because they looked totally unrealistic but I have to tweak the mapping right now on every part so I will make some screens later.
Please also note that the textures are extremely low-res because I want to do an animation and my PC isn't meant to handle really complex scenes

Thanks I wanted the model to look like something between the Revenge of the Sith and the Lost Hope and it seems to have mixed into something like steampunk

I took a break from this project because I was going to US (I'm there right now ) but I will be posting some bigger updates really soon.
Here is an update for the AT Unit and the Hangar.

And my first attempt to make the leg(s) of AT Unit "live" ... I did this one while waiting for my plane I will do some more with that soon so that the first animation features moving AT Unit.

Sorry for not posting big updates but I'm extremely busy right now and I will probably get back to my earlier speed (I know it was slow anyway but I'm like a turtle now ...) after the weekend. Here's a simple shot of a TIE Figter I'm doing for the shot (there has to be some movement in the sky too )

Thank you very much Hopefully I will find enough time to finish the whole project. Here's a little update for the TIE ship

In case anyone is interested - there are some extra cannons on the "wings" and extra engines as well (on the back). I still don't know what will it look like in the back but I think it will come naturally to me
