looking good reminds me of the game x-wing alliance for some reason but dont like the panels either apart form that looking great!

Thanx everyone. Not sure what to do with those panels at this point. I made them like that as the previous two ships for this race had similar ones.


If anyone has any ideas, I'll hear them.

as its a new race and after looking at the pic http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l4...ep3screen2.jpg maybe the panels arnt as bad as i first thought! just see how it looks when animated? have you tried having them just a bit plainer?

To me the ships have a lot of Imperial Navy influence from Warhammer 40k, Battlefleet Gothic.

they really do have the imperial or space marine feel to them
im liking them cause of that

Nice to see this movie is still in production, I'm really looking foward to it.

I really like the ship. Nice modelling! altho I feel like it's really different from what you guys were going for. Like two years ago I started working on a ship for your team, but due to some converting problem (I'm using blender) and also because I was quite busy at that time I dropped out of it. (look at the attachment for what I had started back then). But well that was back then, maybe you now want a more industrial feel than an organic one.

Very interesting! I can't be sure, but I thought I might have seen something like that in an old pre-vis animation for the battle.
