USS Salus NX-75001

This is a ship that I've been working on for a while, but this is the first time I've thought to bring it out in the open here at Sci-Fi Meshes. This is my first Starship model, so it's not expected to be my best, even though I will strive for it.

I could really use a lot of suggestions for methods of improving the model and textures. (Criticize as you like, I need it.)

Personally, I love the shape of the ship except the nacelle pylons. And I would lighten it up color wise. Great work though!

Has a similar design profile to the Insignia class. Great job.

Cool ship To me it looks like the NX01 (saucer from top view) and the NX-J (from Ent's "Azati Prime"). The only real problem with the model are the pylons. I see that they have six sides Smoothen that out and it will be ok. After that you can just add details such as positioning lights, hatches etc.

Originally, the design shared too many similarities with NX-01, so I started a slight remodel and the model above was what I got. I know it's enterprising for a newbie, but I want a really nice model.

I've even downloaded another model to see if I can learn anything about their construction methods (I won't copy the models without giving due credits). I learn best by interacting with a finished product, it helps me to improve my skills by interacting with someone else's finished model. Personally, Kitbashes look horrible 90% of the time, so I prefer to build from scratch or from splines I make in illustrator.

Personally, I don't like kitbash ships so I am glad to see an original mesh. I also don't like the pylons and the V part in the saucer doesn't look right for some reason but I really like the nacelles.
