Here is my latest. Still very much a work in progress. It's meant to be a very long range explorer. Was figuring it to be in the neighborhood of 900 meters. About time that the Federation has a ship of size. The D'Deridex is something like 1300 meters.

nice design. looks a bit like a chimera of a prometheus-class with a nebula pod.

More or less. I wanted it to have dedicated pass-through bays for secondary craft such as shuttles and in a pinch runabouts. Also if the pod were to detach it would be able to leave a small space station in orbit or nearby. I worked out the dimension on the pod to something close to 189 meters wide and 94 meters long not sure about the height, maybe 15-20 meters tops. The runabout bay on the main hull is also pass-through but of course it's a much longer trip.

I'm not a huge fan of the Sovereign and the swoops on the Galaxy class aren't the most efficient uses of internal space. So I took a page off of the Connie and built up from there. To my way of thinking this class will be a forward looking throwback.

I presume it has no capabilities of separation then.

A bit a bewildering shape, but one to get fond with by time...

I Like it, might i suggest on further renders though you darken up the background a bit, as it seems to wash out some of what you already have there {darker grey or black perhaps?}
