You plan on having live actors? Or CGI actors? Or any acting at all?

I would imagine it would be quite difficult to have any acting, live actors would probably look really cheezy. Another question, will you have pilots in the cockpits? Those mechs have nicely done cabins with glass windows, so maybe you could put in poser pilots, just make the helmets/gear for them? Either way this project looks really exciting, I really hope you end up finishing it. Also its forum rules to put credits on the images especially since you're using pawels models.

there will be, live action. least, if i get to that part. i have taken a lot of time planing for it.
cheesy tho? i don't think so. it worked for the mechcommander and mechwarrior 4 intros, why not in a fan made film?

my ideas are not on detail as much this time around as they were last. if it gets done, thats my major priority. is it gona look like pixar made it? no, definatly not.
what i do hope to accomplish is to give all the fans out there something new to look at. something they can say, WOW, to.

Great work Jack, Pawel and I used to talk quite a bit way back in the day, I remember him letting me play with his cougar model and converting it to Lightwave.

I only have one picture of it online at the moment.

cool pic there. love the lighting. and i notice that you added to the mesh a bit, extra antennas up top and on the nose part, and missiles. thats nice.

i will have some pics up of Pawels cougar for the film in the coming weeks, maybe even days. depending.
if you look in the large pic up top of all the mechs in line, i made the Uller using the cougars bottom half, i just modeled a top half. this saved a lot of time.

some added images. the thanatos now.

the thanatos looks a bit bulky, considering its not heavier then a madcat. it may need some size adjustment.

ok, so i guess no-one liked the Thanatos pics. yeah its not the best looking mech i have to show.

been working on rigging the mechs. first i tried the madcat, but its been 2 years since i last did this and i messed up somewhere. will have to redue it, but i did get the catapult rigged tonight, and i made some pics. one just a pose, then i started to have a little fun.

i can move her all about. the toes move, and legs. and i have a control to move both ears in unison 15 degrees up down lefft and right. plus the hatches on the launchers opens up to.

i have fallen, and i cant get up.

enjoy.
