Max The Normandy

I making the Normandy from the Mass Effect game, what do ya think?
Anyone know where I can find more info on the textures this ship needs?

This is the first ship I'm confident in showing here with everyone else. Hope its you all like it so far.

Heh, I've thought about wanting to make this ever since I played the game. It's definitely a sexy ship, and it looks good so far. Although it looks as though the wings need to be spread out from the main body a little more (but I could just be talking out of my ass).

I'm not sure what's up with those segments on the body there, but I don't know what your intentions are for those either. Maybe you wanted them like that for some reason.

Jack O'Neill: Ba'al, come on. You should know. Of course, I dare mock you.

I thought you may like to see my textured version of the Normandy. Its not perfect as I can't seem to find the proper textures for it.

Out standing but the body is too short!

It's about 25% longer and more purposhinate to the engines!

if you need an idea about the textures, use texmod and start the game. it allows you to browse through the textures, used by your graphics card and export them as an image format. this way, you can check, how things were done.

Nice work Blaze!

I tried modelling the Normandy sometime ago... I think I had the basic shape down, butI put it on the backburner because of the lack of reference material. Now that the PC version is out, these might be easier to come by. There might be something that could help you out here: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...-normandy.html

Keep it up!

I'm working on some new textures for her at present but its slow going, the unreal editor is quite expensive so can't really access the proper textures and stuff, however I will keep on it and hopefully finish it in the next month or so with better looking textures.

Nice work on the reaper ship, I done it too, then started the game again on the hardest difficulty to do it all over again.

P.s. I found the texmod program, and managed to locatethe actual textures so hopefully a properly textured version will be coming soon.
