hi people.

how about a gunstar ?
a real piece of space artillery.
a real space gun that fires bullets larger than a viper.
a real sniper long range gun mounted on a spaceship.
a gun that could blow a basestar in a few shots.

just a gun alone on a spaceship (its no battlestar. its not made for closeup combat and wouldnt have AA or nukes or turrets).

I buy it.

what do you think?

Was the gun shown fireing on the Base star when the Pegasus sacraficed herself to save the Galactica?

that is just the end of the gun, kids.
its meant to be larger than the statics front canons of the pegasus.
its space artillery. it shouldnt be on a battlestar.
the magazine will be on the side.

the barrel should be a bit larger than a galactica flight pod. (in large, not length)

the ship itself should be a little bigger than my blinkspark paralax if you remember that one.
i like small specific ships.
one day, to help this one, i'll do a shieldstar.

Sort of Big Berta in space? The recoil on that thing will knock the teeth our of the crew

that how i would make space artillery.
5 of these far from a battlefield, shooting at cylon basestars while battlestars detachements are on the flight deck, waiting to be at fire range.

or, coupling it with a space awacs and make a real space sniper.
