Tyche Class: Revamp A while ago I started to develop the Tyche, and life being life time got away from me, eventually I thought I had lost the mesh due to having to reformat my C Drive and it remained lost. Luckly I found that the Tyche's files were saved on my D drive, and being so egar to see it again, and not just the pics of it in the previous thread, I opened it in Max, Sadly some parts had huge errors in them but these were just the hull and the neck 'spine'. So I've decided to try fix it and finish it, I decided to just wipe all the colour from the mesh for now, I finally managed to model a version of the Enterprise B 'Wings' that I was happy with. Theres still some things that need to be modelled off the original, such as the secondary hulls neckspine's impulse engines and the deflector dish housing. Comments are always welcome

Nice design. I'm not sure about the hanging deflector dish tho, interesting idea but more orthodox deflector dish systems take up most of the front third of the secondary hull. They are big systems. EDIT= or is it that you haven't modeled it's housing yet? I must learn to read the original post in full before looking at the pretty pictchas

Hehe, The deflector housing on this version hasn't been modelled yet, but its design is going to be like the one on the older thread, And I have to say the idea of a 'hanging' deflector seems intresting

3 hours work later: I remodelled the neck spine to make the saucer and the hull flow a bit better, I decided to go in a new direction as opposed to the original Tyche, the original had impulse engines on the neck, but seeing as how this one has them on the pylons it seemed a bit redundant, I also fanned out the pylons connection to the hull to make them also flow a bit more, Full: ![]() From Aft ![]() Closer: ![]() Side on
