The guys over at military-meshes could probably rake you over the coals on the accuracy, but for what you're doing, it's good enough. Besides, most of your audience here wouldn't even notice the difference!

You should also model an F-86.....just because.
The numbers on the 104 taxiing right at the beginning of the eps. are: Tail: 70914, Fuse: FG-914. The numbers on the one deployed to chase E are: Tail: 70926, Fuse: FG-926. TOS-R used the numbers of the taxiing 104. I have no idea why, LOL. Needless to say, mine will be 926.

Yeah, the Sabre is on my list dude, as I love those Cold War era jets.

Can you model or do an interpitation of the CFA-44 from Ace Combat 6. lol.
Indeed, that's a pretty cool "fake" jet I must say docprice.

Well, B.J., while this was actually an exercise for speed, she is still pretty decently accurate. It's not in me to model slop. I didn't pour tons of time into uber-detailing her (as that is not needed for my use), but she is, for the most part, fairly accurate. The cockpit is admittedly more of a board-stroked "representation," as cockpits can become a project all their own, and I'm not interested in that level of detail and accuracy for this project. So yeah, like you said, aircraft-nuts could spot stuff not uber-perfect I'm sure.

Ahhahahaha... hada do it dude.

Update...

Added the missing dorsal spine fairing (thanks Vendigo ) and some more detail to Capt. Christopher's helmet...

So, NOW that'll do her for the modeling, onto UVing, and then painting...

Awesome cockpit deg, and the textures are pretty bad @$$ too. Keep it coming, .

Thanks RW, gettin' there eh.

Update...

First pass at base-surface and major marking(s) positions...

I'm aware that fuse calls are not continuing onto the speed-brake panel(s), and not quite sure why she seems to be rendering more reflective in the fore, sliced down the middle at an angle...

But this is just a render for position(ing) test, I'll deal with that other stuff later and I have to double-check my reference tomorrow for final position accuracy...

NICE!!! BUT, it is too clean. The 104 was kept polished, but it had areas that would become less reflective with time. Other than that light the burner

Yeah - something trivial like that would take you only 5 seconds to fix anyways.

Looking good man. You'll get it- no prob.

Guys guys guys, thanks much but...

...did ya read my post as well, as with "first pass"...?

Rest easy gents, she's still very much a WIP, not even close to being a finished product.

Panels (not even one on her yet) and variation grunge and all that crap will take care of that you are referring to...
