A futuristic communicator device (from speed challenge)

Hello everyone

The model I'm posting here is from the speed modelling challenge, but I wouldn't do that if Mika (Guerrilla) wasn't talking about the model being unpolished (which it is not because it's just ugly ).
Anyway, I decided to take some time and add some little bits to the mesh.
Aside from them, I added a "plug" to the end which attaches to the user's spine (so you just have to think what you want the comm to do)
Ok here are the pics :

It's just as big as a typical headset that you can buy for a cell phone
And it works by connecting to your spine. However, I ran out of ideas after that

Looks nice. The only thing I can see as a problem is that the part that hooks around the ear looks rather uncomfortable :P .

Oh, and the piece that sticks to your spine isn't uncomfortable at all?

Nice rework Adam. I think the wire is a bit on the short side, if it needs to reach the spine while hanging from someone's ear, but other than it's very cool.

WIP: Semi-Random Projects

Comco: i entered it manually in the back end

Thanks I'll see what I can do about that part in the future.

The piece that attaches to your spine first gives you a stab in some other sensitive part of your body so that you don't feel the pain of being stabbed in your spine
The wire is short on purpouse because I don't want to make 2000 px wide images just to make all the parts visible.

Here's another little update :

I like the way the mic peice looks like an old microphone that you would expect Sinatra to have used!

Thanks That design of the microphone proved to be good even today so I see no reason for a future device to be different.
