Couple of Sketchup Fighters Just a pair of fighters I'm working on. Built entirely with sketchup, worked on each for about three and a half hours. They are the Shrike and Corsair, which I've done in 2D but was having trouble making the models look like what I had in my mind, and I think these are pretty much exactly the way I want. I also finally figured out how to do panel lines in program which will make drawing the illustration much simpler.

I've played with Sketchup, but I had no idea it could do those sorts of complex curves that the second image shows. Very impressive stuff! The second image really looks smart.

I have been a silent admirer of your work for a long time, but I have to say that these two (which have always been my favorites among your works) are excellent. BTW, I have a scan of the original Punisher (the RL fighter on which you based your Corsair) - just in case you need it for reference..

Thanks guys. Yeah, sketchup is pretty flexible once you play around with it. I am constantly impressed with the work that other artists display here. Oh, and yes plese Eyal, I'll PM you my info. ZAch

Man... how did you make those hull lines? And the graphics... do you just have a model for them and intersect-wtih-model them onto the hull, or do you have a different solution?
