For those who may be curious, here is the ref I have been working from. The shaded tiles are ones I have modeled already. It looks like there are fewer variations on the Death Star than I originally believed.

As for this being "low" versus "high" poly, consider this: I've not chamfered any of the edges yet, nor have I added the detail plating. This is early going, believe me.
