| Perhaps square isn't the answer. The camera's field of view is cone shaped. So if you were to match up the greebles to the shape of the camera you'd be able to save system resources and be able to propagate them further at the same time. Another trick that can work well, is to do a composite render in stages. Rendering the furthest first and then the closer ones. As long as you don't move the camera everything should line up perfectly. Just my $0.02 |
