New Stargate Ship

I know there are quite a few Stargate projects floating around the forums lately, but I thought I would post up my current side project. It's loosely based on the 304s, but is a little different design wise, and significantly different detail wise. One thing that always bothered me about the ship is that there never seem to be any outer details that actually have a purpose. Namely airlocks (that always seem to be at the end of every hall inside. ), directional thrusters(changing direction with only rear thrust in space would just result with the ship spinning like a top), etc.

Comment/Criticisms welcome as always. The hanger bays, engines, and sail are still placeholders. I can post closeups should anyone want them.

Extremely large image warning! Thumbnailed to avoid breaking internets.

WOW! That's amazing. I like the missile tubes on the bottom. It's a very good idea to make that details you mentioned. I can't wait to see more.

Indeed a very nice model!
I like the launchers, and the details have a less generic, non-descript feeling to them.

Looking forward to more

Dumb question here... you've just removed the right hand fighter bay and drive pod just to show off the details?

Looks cracking

that, and I hate showing off unfinished parts in dominance of finished parts. IE, all of the work I've done on the cargo pods would vanish behind the extremely rough main pod. The whole point of a wip shot is to show off what you have done, not what you still need to do. just my 2 cents.

Plus I'm currently working on that area, so I like to have the test objects on to test clearance, but out of the way so I can see what I'm working on.
