| When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again. | |

Not that I'm trying to hide the rest of the ship, but I am choosing not to show certain details that aren't finished and also keeping a few surprises in store. There are details yet to add all over the ship but the secondary hull and nacelles are basically done, so that's what I decided to show for now. But, just so you can't say I never did anything for ya, I'll post some more views of the nacelles shortly. ![]() |

All I'll say is that I know there is some segmentation visible, especially in the second image with the tight close-up on the bussard collector. My intent is to be able to use this model for animation so I am working hard to keep the polycount down, but I should still be able to fix most of the obvious stuff in the final modeling stages. By the way, the current polycount is about 186,000 for the entire model, but I haven't even started freezing and optimizing the Sub-D's yet so I'm still hopeful of staying under 200K. |
