Beeeeutiful ship; still progressing nicely! I like the underside very much, doesn't look like it'll have windows on the floors

As for the inner phaser strip, without sounding treknical, if you're putting a sensor system there it might be a bit much operationally. The strip does serve well visually though! *deposits 2 cents into cup...

Another vote for second, makes it look more Nem era than TNG, all good though.

But where do all the calculators go?

Ain't nothin' over till it's over.

I think I like the first. It would be good to see the same view of both versions. But I think I like the "framing" effect that the two continuous strips give it.

Or do they have large recreation areas inside?
most of a starship's mass is in its warp nacelles (the Ent-D's are 1/4 of the ship's total mass - 1.23 of 4.92 million metric tonnes), so maybe it's only 650,000 metric tonnes because they didn't install the coils yet. Check back next Tuesday.

Thats something I always wondered... how do you calculate the mass of a such heterogeneous and unlinear object as a starship?

Im guesing somewere in a episode or in the TNG Tech Manual they said the weight of a ship and people use that as a basis cause frankly theres no other way sense we cant know the weight or density of a fictional metal (duranium, tritanium exct.)

Back on topic Im lovein' this ship cant wait to see more of it.
