Yes, the view from the lounge/briefing room at the back end of this baby ought to be REALLY spectacular, and yes, the windows were a pain in the ass to model. ![]() ![]() And this is about a much of a pull-back as you're gonna get for a while. ![]() For those who are interested in such things, the entire bridge assembly weighs in around 6,500 triangles and the entire model is currently about 270,000 triangles. Still have a LOT of optimizing to do, though. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | I guess I ought to get crackin' on the bridge interior at some point, eh, Vektor? If you have my email addy, send me a quick message about any ideas you have or want to discuss regarding how we're going to get the bridge interior in this beast. I haven't really done any more work on the interiors for months and months, but I can do some quick renders (top-down, whatever) in no time flat. To the best of my knowledge, all I really have left to do with the main bridge is the lighting and some minor texturing. In a perfect world, I'd be able to remodel some of the parts that got all kinds of phuqed-up in the conversion from SeanR's original work- but that would be an investment of time that I'm not sure I can afford these days. Anyway... yeah, send me a PM or an email so we can figure this mess out. |
