If I remember correctly, it stands for "Non Fleet Commissioned." Basically, this is not a Starfleet ship, rather it belongs to a parallel organization called the Interstellar Federation Taskforce. It all has to do with the way the fan club this ship is being made for is organized and the particular backstory they use within the Trek universe. It's all very complicated and that's about all I can tell you about it.

I was under the impression that the Senior Briefing Room was part of the bridge module... it's part of the floorplan, as well as the runway to the Hanger-bay and the RR.

If I remember, SeanR was doing the BR somewhat like the Sovereign BR... but I don't know if he added it to the mesh you got, Jay? Just trying to remember...

The Senior Briefing Room is part of the bridge module. It's going to go right behind those wrap-around windows on the back end. I was visualizing a round table with a hole in the center as a clever little Arthurian reference to the ship's class name: Avalon. Of course, it's not really my job to design the ship's interior, so you can take that for what it's worth.

Glad to see all is coming along up here. Just wanted everyone to know that we are very slowly getting the Actual Grandeur Forum back up and running not totally sure why or how the other one went down , but it sort of messed up and or disappeared

Although we did not get a lot of people to join over there from these boards we did have a few big names in the art world join up as well as Vektor and NightShadow posting over there too.

So maybe we can slowly get it back up to speed again. Don't expect alot right away but if you care to take a look feel free USS Grandeur Forum

I want to thank everyone that has been sending me their response as to rather or not they would purchase this ship as a model when Vektor gets finished with it and when we get the physicial model all complete.

I made a spot for people to cast their vote on the forum under the main Grandeur link, feel free to cast your vote for the model there, as well as on the Grandeur Website which BTW is getting a less cluttered slow make over too.

Well, that's what we want, Jason... someone with vision... which Nightshadow is a wonderful visionary!! :-) What I though SeanR was going to do was use the Ent-E BR with some tweeks...



...but I don't know if that was what he added to the mesh he sent Jay or not. Still, I thought that the whole module was going to be done and added (low res) to your model... am I right?
