Ultramarine, 7th Reserve Company

This is an old Space Marine model that I'm updating and rez-ing up. I've replaced the head, changing it from the old style, conical shaped version. As I'm currently doing some drawn work to pay the bills, this one's gonna be a long time in process. But here's the progress so far.

Nice work mate, but definately need updating.
The bolter is fine but since a SM is quite hard to model. (SO i've been told, i'm too chicken to try it myself despite working on the Necrons.) One can expect the slightly "out" bits, the spindly limbs that are common. etc (though yours are fine the hands are slightly weird.)

Reality is like a kick in the balls, you see something you like and WHAM.

Looks pretty good but I think maybe the 'snout' on his helmet is a bit too long, those mark VII helmets have quite a flat face. The rest of him looks fine though.

Heh, I forgot to mention, about the hands. They're just placers right now, untill I can model articulated hands.

Mechmaster - The snout is a little longer than some of the artwork shows, tho there seems to be little consistancey with the snout length as I went over all the art I have in my collection (not to mention the sheer volume of design variations). I'll prbably shorten it just a little more, but I kinda like a little protrusion. Call it "artistic liscence"

Thanks for the comments!

Just thought I'd give this marine a face....The head is a stock model (saddly I don't have the name of the original modeler), tho I'm reworking it to get both endomorphs as well as reworking the features to my own liking. Textures are currently temps, all procedural.

Here's a little update on the face. Currently I've just got a color map on it. Needs spec and bump. I've decided to do a music vid with these guys. Anyhoo, C+C always welcome.

Here's a couple posed shots with some minor armor updates.
