ASR: Romulan Dhael-class cruiser Romulan ships have always been close to my heart, so I decided to try my hand modelling one of Coventry-CO's wonderful designs for the ASR game. Original specs for the ship are by Scott Freligh. Here's what I have so far, beginning from the nacelles and working towards the head.

I love seeing new Romulan designs too! I suppose I should complement Coventry on the design, but your model so far really does it justice. The underside of the wing looks kinda segmented, though.

One thing, however, and this is not too critical at this stage he's a little too green. If you went by the D'DERADIX it should be a little less bright green...more a grey green. I think Jeff was actually wanting to bring back the grey-green colors...with a brighter green markings. I'm liking the direction your going with this, though. Can't wait to see the command sections. Keep it up.

Thanks for the comments! I'll tone down the color, I didn't pay it much attention other than "it's green" yet. The wings must be redone too, they are still a bit too angular and I made a couple of mistakes separating the feather panels anyway, but that can wait until I get the hull made.
