M only crit is for number C though. I agree that technology should be kept current, but in light of the Ori threat, I'd imagine the Asgard would provide Earth with some limited weapons. Legolas, no doubt about that. You are certainly right. What I'm tryin to avoid is going from the Daedalus to the Death Star in one shot. We might get Asgard weapons, but the ship wouldn't necessarily be designed around that weapon only. Besides, between Carter and McKay, and IMO, Zelenka, they'd come up with an even more advanced earth weapon system. Sam did come up with the modulator chip for the TER to combat the Kull Warriors, with some help from Jacob/Selmak of course.
I just want to spur creative ship designs that have different characteristics. You have a good point though. It is yet to be seen if that happens though. The Asgard have been conspicuosly absent lately. I personally think Thor has a crush on Sam and has locked himself away to avoid the awkward moments.
Maybe that's why Kvasir is so sarcastic to Sam. Hmmm, makes you think doesn't it?
