Seriously! In the last five months they've progressed from being an embarrassment to respectable.
I've been thinking about some new designs lately. Not sure how different I want to go with it.
I wish we all could put together a little battle sequence, like the ones they have at Space Battles. I think it'd be cool to see something like that, and the workload could be divided up amongst several people. It's be cool, but I think most people don't really have the time for something like that. I helped some of my college friends put together a Star Wars light sabre battle once for a school project, and I tell you the end result was pretty damn good. Ah well. It was an idea, a lofty one, but a fun one. For now, I'll keep plugging away at learning 3d Max.
Here's some ideas just in case you've hit a brain fart; like I get those every other day.
a mobile repair ship with robot arms to repair damaged Tau' ri (Earth) ships.
a Tau'ri mass evacuation ship (in case the Ori can't be stopped)
a hypothetical design of a Furling ship.
an earth based competitor to the Goa'uld Al'Kesh design
an orbital station based on earth technologies
There, that should have your mind percolating at high sub-light speeds.
Keep up the good work. Your ship is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see what textures will do. Hoooaaah!
