| Here are the T.Mk I variants. The FGA is a ground attack/wild weasel type craft, based on the F-100F, F-105F/G, and F-4G. The pods on the forward fuselage are defensive ecm pods containing jammers and such. The N.Mk I is a nuclear strike bird, designed for pinpoint nuclear strikes on Cylon basestars. It has the improved engines of the Mk IV and bulges in the wings to store the nuclear weapons (2 missiles usually). The Mirage 2000N was the inspiration for the design. Finally, the EW.Mk I is the electronic warfare escort, designed to jam and otherwise disrupt enemy sensors and protect a fighter or strike squadron. It is based on the EA-6B and EF-111. The Scarlet Viper was the inspiration for the wings on the EW. |
