Congrats guy's :thumb:, it was great fun participating.
So was it that mine could no longer be classed as a greeble, or was I disqualified for posting two images :D
Oh well, maybe next time :)

Nobody was disqualified from the voting - each greeble was judged on its own merits. While some were close to being a little 'too unique' to fit into a repeating greeble definition, we didn't disallow any of them or mark any down on this occasion.
What we would suggest to everybody in future however, is to more closely study the criteria of what is being asked for - it's very disappointing for Senseis also, to have to judge an exceptional piece of work lower than it should be, simply because it does not fit the provided brief - afterall, the most beautifully crafted Apple mesh ever made wouldn't (and shouldn't) win a contest asking for an Orange... :thumb:

Grats lads. I was actually right at guessing all three places.. Do I win the pot? Gonk droid really came up with unique idea. I simply love it.

Congrats to the winners!
Gonk Droid - I love that highway sign image! :D
Congrats to everyone who entered - all the entries looked great, I'm glad I didn't enter this one, as I doubt mine would have looked anywhere near as good!

i think this is directed at me. i was definitely walking a thin line between a greeble and something more and do appreciate whatever sensei latitude might have been given to my entry. i'll make sure to stick close to the guidelines in any future challenge.

I think it was directed at me actually, as you probably wouldn't use mine more than once on a mesh as it is a bit too unique.
I now realise that I missed the "repeating" greeble guideline, as I wouldn't have gone so overboard with small details if I had read the instructions properly :p
Next time I'm going to read the guidelines at least 10 times, if not more :D
