DAMN, that's nicely done!! I wonder if he could do a Ronin-Class varient since he's aced this one hands-down, no-contest. The varient I have in mind is the Osiris-Class U.S.S. Avalon & its sister-ship U.S.S. Vonnegut.

The Osiris-Class is based on components of the Phobos-Class by Kevin Riley & the Ronin-Class by Patrick "Hobbes" Weber (E-mail: pat@ussmiranda.com)
Patrick "Hobbes" Weber @ USSMiranda.com?
I smell Bull****- for one Hobbes is Rick Snider...
Man, ussmiranda is well known for model and image theft, but ID theft too...? :rolleyes:

Oh for the love of... Samurai, just because our favorite little thief Hellsgate is too thick to know the difference doesn't mean you should take his errors seriously. Just because some of you have personal vendettas against Pat Weber doesn't make them factually accurate. Seriously, what kind of moderator hijacks a thread?
Commandersozo, brilliant attention to detail. I love a good MSD...

thanx for the kind comments.
@choo1701
I didn't really looked, how mucht time I've spend to this project. But I was working on it here and there for about three weeks, mostly during the nights - not much sleep.
and I'm still working on it for another version - the gold version. will post the pics as soon as possible here.

gah- I wish I'd had money on you showing up as soon as someone says a bad word against ussmiranda.
We've been over why I don't think much of ussmiranda.com quite a few times already- and despite what you might think it has nothing at all to do with anyone else- thief or otherwise. Those meshes have to be hacked up and pasted back together then uploaded without permission for people to grab them in the first place.

I addressed this in a PM to you, but I guess I'll just put it out here; all images on Miranda are credited, and if you'd had the sense to look, you would have noticed that the starship database isn't there right now; we've removed it temporarily to reprogram to a moderated wiki so that a group of us can keep an eye on these things and Pat doesn't have to do it alone; we're not Bravo Fleet - we don't steal. Meanwhile, at least two users on SFM have avatars that ARE uncredited thefts from Miranda, and you say nothing. Cute.
commandersozo - The shuttles in the super close-ups look a tad rough. Maybe darkening them up a wee bit would help? Same with the red and blue of the core - it looks a little glaring.

That torpedo luancher shoots right into the ship.

12th May 2007, 18:20
@picard102
if you look at the front view on the MSD, you will see, that the frontal torpedo launcher sits between the two pulse phaser cannons and fires directly into the chosen direction - :o
Choo1701
12th May 2007, 20:30
Just put a big white line over the top of the pulse cannon, thus suggestions its not on the same plane as the torp launcher
hope that was clear enough :help: :shiner: Just my 2 cents :)
commandersozo
12th May 2007, 20:37
sorry, but i need further explanation....:confused:
what do you mean with a with line over the cannon?
Choo1701
12th May 2007, 20:55
um...like this:

I'm a fan of the Ronin-class and I like your MSD.
But shouldn't the warp core be reversed? I think blue indicates deuterium and red anti-matter and anti-matter is usually stored on the lower decks.
