My Day Job...

Here is a example of the kind of work I do at my day job.

The client wanted a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd
drawn up for their logo.

I matched their requested font, but I am not happy with the way
it looks with the illustration.


But the client get what they want right?


This Illustration was created 100% using Adobe illustrator
with photo references as a under layer.

Wonderful.

I'd suggest you refine some areas a bit.
Add in some streaks with the different colour to give the impression of hair.
The Retriever is great, he does actually not really need help.

They're both nice.

As far as I know they will be using it as full color in their print advertising, they it will be used on their website as well in color.

It looks fine to me. I think it could use a little extra polish but depending on what you got paid that's all relative.
