HAHA... fooled :p Okay, sorta.
This is a faux poster of Project Cosmos. I was inspired by IRML's background and he was kind enough to let me use it to create a conceptual film poster.
To see a larger, web friendly version, click on this link (http://www.projectcosmos.net/PC_Movie_Poster_FINAL_WEB.png).
The image in the link is big but at the print resolution of the Final poster so there are details being left out.
This little side doodle took a bit longer than I had planned, so I'm getting back to the companion book that I was originally working on. I will be selling these posters along with the galaxy maps in the near future, providing it's cool with IRML. The dimensions of this poster is 24"x36".
Anyways, hope you enjoy the pic. Back to the book!

Eh about half.
Oh and before any malcontents sound off that there's no credits on the image, they are buried in the movie credits. :) Kthxbai

More images of the womans uniform and of the project generally would be fantastic!;)

In my art book for project cosmos there will be full body paintings of female human uniforms. If you look in my project cosmos thread in 2d wips you'll see the male varient for the star navy officer uniform. The female version is very similar save only a few minor differences.
The project in general will be flushed out as well. But you can look at the Project Cosmos thread in 2d wips to see more. :)

I'll have a lookie, thanks.:thumb:
hey I got your PM
that looks fantastic, I'd perhaps put a bit of orange fog over the ship at the top for a sense of distance, but other than that I wouldn't change anything
sure you can print these, but on one condition - let me have a max res copy of that image :D
Very cool poster, so when does the film come out? ;)

It was done in Photoshop actually. And yes, now that I think on it, it would have been an awesome April 1st joke. Oh well. :)

I'm disappointed that I'm not in the credits.
I don't know why, I just am. :shiner:
Nice work mate- the transition on the central character's arms into the dark background is a bit abrupt, but there's no better solution for it springing to mind so I'm probably best ignored. :p

When I make another movie poster I'll be sure to put you in there as the caterer or something :shiner:
Yeah the character's arms do transition rather quickly... it's better that it was before, but I'll toy with it a tiny bit longer tonight to see if I can get something better. :)
I just realised something, you have a character in project cosmos called IRML, so it's like the character is in the credits for the poster haha

lol yeah that's true... hmm. Quite a dilemma there...
Also, IRML, if you ever happen to make another big ass poster sized image again like you had for this one I'd totally be up for making another poster.
