For a long time now I haven't worked any Sci-fi related work so I toughed it time to make a big one. A wallpaper sized image for my self. Maybe an own desktop theme will come out off it in time. But it will sure be a great prectice for me to do.

I have to point out that this picture is related to that I posted here and there will be an anthro character in it. When I finish... But I tired to pick up the sci-fi from it and post that here than.

This picture contains a dawn sky with a red gas giant and a few moon around it. The planet is also one off the moons of the red giant. Like The Europa. Or more Scifi related like the Yavin in SW. I hate to draw rings. So touching work. This part is totally painted.

The next little picture I picked up from it is the Ship graveyard. We have seen tons of pictures from derelicts in space or in deserts. But I think not many of us has think of drawing derelicts into coastal water. Sorry base colors only for U guys Im not done with the water reflection yet and it looks pretty off than. The ship are random around my usual, own starship parts. I hope they are unique. So for the idea of the concept.

Yes the ship at the upper right corner has fallen on a normal cargo ship when it gone down, and crashed it to. Oh yes if some would say the water can't be that deep I can say only one thing to that. What do U think how big rise of the tide can be on a moon what orbits a red giant. I bet its bigger than on Earth. Think on that erosion that can do.

Great images :thumb: The first one is really beautiful . The second image is nice too - especially the damaged ships. Can't wait to see the final version. Just please do a cartoony water too :D

I Think there is no other way anyway. Since I only can draw.

Your planets are great. The ring needs some perspective added to it because it feels flat and it's klling the image a little. If you shink the far part of the ring is it's thinner it will look further away and really give the appearance that it's on the far side of the planet and going into the distance. :)
