Challenge #9 - star_creations - Guardian

Well, I thought I would take a crack at this challenge.

My idea is a creating a Planetary Guardian, a sphere type weapons platform. In the cut-out areas is the sliding pulse cannon that can fire in every direction.

I will have 2d drawing soon, this is just a rough idea I'm working on.

I hope it is ok for me to change to a different Model...I thought I would go a different rout and create a Cone Driller...using a basic shape such as the CONE. Also working on a 2d drawing.

I hope it is allowed to make a change like this. if not I will understand.

Im liking the changes, I would add some thickness to the ridges as they look very sharp, unless that was intended.

Dude, you can change your mind as often as you want. And we don't have any cones yet in the Challenge, so I say - GAME ON!

Well, it certainly looks good.

But...


I won't buy it as it's kind of useless. It only can "drill" up to it's "drilling part" and then it gets stuck as the other parts (control room and stuff) of it are bigger then the drill itself. So there'll be no deep drilling. it can only bore an cone identical to the drill head...
