Shining city in space

This is a continue of my project EASS "Crystal harbor". In this first post I want to show you my sketch (as it was planned long before) and make some notes.

I think I shall show my station in one of it's typical days. Busy ship lanes, cargo ships, luxury liners and so on. No gunshots, I think :)

Scene will be large, so ships will be mostly low-poly. But I also want to place a detailed ship closer to a POV, but I'm not sure about it yet. I'm planning to show you some of my ships for "background" soon.

Seems to me, ch#10 doesn't move... that's sad. Anyway - if someone is still interested in it, I would like to ask - shall i make some smooth shapes for my "background" ships, or not? Right now I'm finishing my important work and planning to continue on my space station. Any comments?

Yeah Dredd, I'm going to be officially closing this down. It's a shame that people are not interested in producing good final quality images / animations to be judged, but I think that the fad also varies over time.

I'm going to be making an official announcement later, but I'm going to effectively annul #10 - an alternative is already ready and will start next month.

I've been working on something, despite my software/PC limitations. It's not much, but I have put a couple of weeks of thought and work into it.

Unfortunately rojren, the numbers are just not there, and there is a specific requirement in the rules that state that a WIP was required. Numbers wise, we can only go by the people who actually post.

Put your work up anyway.

Any way - if this challenge will be close down, is it possible to move my tread into WIP, because I really want to finish my project - I'm planning to continue it this week.

Good work, I think it was just the timing, oddly enough not many people get chance to do 3D over xmas and new years.

Right now I have so many work - just not able to work no my project. But I'll continue. Still - no inspiration now - sadly no one comes to this tread, so no comments...

Yay, missed this one entirely. I thought that no-one actually started on the #10. I myself got no time at all to go on with it, not to mention the lack of inspiration for the theme. :D

I really hope you will continue with this as it would be shame to stop such promising project.
Once you would like to work on it some more, just PM one of the active mods around, they'll move it for you to the 3d-wip section, so you get some comments, as there is noone coming in here atm.

Sadly, project is closed. I'm so busy now and I have no time for scifi modelling and no inspirational comments were made ((( so - that's the end.
