Erik Schiegg has come up with one of the more WTF? gadgets of 2010 — a solar-powered charger disguised as a dog coat. While perhaps not quite as pointless as the pooch oxygen chamber (http://dvice.com/archives/2010/01/air-press-chamb.php), Schiegg's creation uses a 2600 mA solar charger with different voltage outputs and built-in lamp on top of a basic dog jacket, and the Swiss national claims the $60 invention charges his Android phone in super-quick time.
