pretty good, Ive been woking on something similiar LOL. The western Federation vs. the Eastern Alliance. Im six storys in spanning three hundred years so far. Good luck.. and a nice start.

Are the first seven paragraphs part of the story or notes you added to give us more information?

What are your thoughts on opening the story with the submarine attack, and then explaining why? We'd have some action that gets our attention, then a question that keeps us reading for an answer.
