I'm quite taken by this scottish poem I ran across... :P Just thought I would share it with the crows.
An update on my Animation Mentor experience:
1) I had a long conversation with the registration adviser at AM and I asked a few questions:
Q: "How many students have dropped out of Animation Mentor?"
A: While she did not have the number on hand she was able to give an estimate (good as gold to me) that less than a tenth of the students dropped out.
Q: "What is the primary reason for these drop-outs?"
A: These reasons are as varied as the people that give them, and not one she mentioned was due to malignancy on the part of the student or staff (such as job load, or moving, or someone was having a baby, or w/e).
And if it says anything for the folks at AM its that I have been unable to find any form of bad information about Animation Mentor. Everything I hear and see is good stuff; from the quality of reels to the comments of students and previous students. Its just wow.
I would challenge people to find dirt on Animation Mentor. I couldn't find anything, so I would be interested to see what others can do...
I'm stoked. So totally stoked.
I'm signed in for winter quarter which is from January 7th to March something...
Thats all for today!

| | I'm really excited for ya, man ![]() I really regret not putting my best effort into college. I only went one year, and didn't go back. I have a decent job now, but I keep thinking about how much I missed out on by not having a degree. much luck to you! |
