Projects, films and games what more do you want?!

I realised this page still exists and thought I should post again. I've been reworking the Endurance (my battlestar) and in anticipation of some publically released images I've done a materials test on a rudimentary Trek ship in the WIP gallery. Your thoughts would be most appreciated if you can spare the time.
On other topics 3D related, I was impressed with the Prince Caspian film both in terms of effects and general filmic qualities. It's as good as the original and a little grittier with some much better cinematography. It tends to wander in narrative a little but the actors and actresses acquit themselves with greater solidity than before. The clever script enables them with relatively few lines each to express their character fully.
Additionally I've been messing with the beautiful but tragically underused Crytek 2 engine that powers Crysis a storming PC game that gives the average user an unbelievably powerful suite of tools modify and edit the game.
You can change every asset, sculpt your own terrain on vast maps and there's plenty of tutorials on Crymod the modding website to get you started and help you with tweaking specifics like vehicles and gameplay, a ridable horse is one of the mods already on display.
The engine is so good that professional architectural practices are using it in visualisation for various projects and several in game recreations of famous adverts have also been 'filmed' inside the engine to prove its' abilties. The engine really is a cut above the rest and relatively easy to modify and make your own as a fellow creative I highly recommend having a look.
Anyway off to do 3D, I'll post again.
