I went to L.A. for a weeks' holiday, Disneyland, Universal studios, The Getty villa, The Getty centre, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Aquarium of Pacific Animals, hiking, good sushi, King crab legs, nice weather, which was all great and very tiring.

I had five days of jetlag after I got back which was pretty much as long as the holiday was and still had a few days off the following week, so I had a good two and half weeks off which was very relaxing.

An the 3D...

Projects, films and games what more do you want?!

I realised this page still exists and thought I should post again. I've been reworking the Endurance (my battlestar) and in anticipation of some publically released images I've done a materials test on a rudimentary Trek ship in the WIP gallery. Your thoughts would be most appreciated if you can spare the time.

On other topics 3D related, I was impressed with the Prince Caspian film both in terms of effects and general filmic qualities. It's as good as the original and a little grittier...

Found some time!

Posted 01-13-2008 at 04:44 PM by Firelode
So anyway I've found a bunch of time this weekend to finally finish putting the frames into my Battlestar Endurance hull, the WIP will be updated soon of course with pretty and quite large images.

My new computer is very, very good at handling the mesh now buying a 8800 GTX really helps with real-time rendering and I am amazed at its' proficiency regardless of how many polygons I throw at it.

Anyway I'm a bit late today because of alcohol related merryment on saturday...

So anyway I should be in bed....

Yes I should be getting to sleep so I can wake up good and early get to work and leave early so that I can make it home, pick up my delivery of RAM and get my new PC working.

Then I can continue working on my 3D work and my writing, website, drawing and all that other stuff that I should have done more than 5 years ago now.

As for the 3D does anyone else find that while you had good ideas finding the time to implement them properly is almost impossible and moreover...
