Where is the time going?!!

I been asking that myself lately. Why? Well I am finding that I don’t have enough time in the day to do what I want, or don’t have the time to get things finished.
There are two simple reasons for this.

1. I have taken on more duties at work, which is causing me to spend less time at my desk and more time on the Underground or Over-ground travelling to different sites around London. Some of this time I can spend modelling if I bring my laptop along. However most of the trips are very short and by the time my Laptop has booted up it time to turn it off again.

So with all this travelling it mean less time spent here during my working day. It a prise that has to be paid, if I want to pay the bill and put food the table for the wife and kids.

2. Is well, that is that I am spending time with the wife and Kids after I get in form work. By the time I have sent the kids off to bed and the misses TV shows start I am shattered, and not really in the mood to sit in front of the computer, I just want to veg in front of the TV, not really caring what on.

When I do have the will power and the energy to sit in font on the computer, I have two projects to keep me busy. (It really three, but the third one I work on the way into and out of work on the train using my laptop.) One of them you know is the film project. (I have not really spent much time on this over the last few weeks) The other is creating a Scene for a Calendar. Which I am working on over at Sci-fi Annoyances.
I got November and got some great Ideas for it, but need to get that done before the end of this summer as we are planning to realise the calendar for 2009.

So where are we now on the SFM film Project?

Well the final scene is in and another scene has been reworked so if flows better. Everyone is a lot happier with the second Draft, so it is now safe to say that the Pilot script is done.

The script which is now in scene will be broken up and given to different people so they can do a storyboard. Of course this will mean it scene will look different in the storyboards, but this won’t affect the final look of the film as they will be done in the same style. However the reason that we are doing it this way is so that we don't’ wait month for one person to get the storyboard done as it could be hundreds of different pictures.

The concept team are still working away. I have said this before and I’ll say it again Spudmonkey is coming up with some really great stuff, If fact everyone is.

I would like to take this moment to thank everyone that has worked on this project for all their hard work, without them this project would not be where it is and would not be a reality.
