My first solo game

My first game that I'll be working on alone is going to be a Sci-fi game that I'll definitely put up here after I'm finished with it (and some builds along the way). I don't really have a plan for what its going to be, its really just an exercise to see what I'm capable of, but I think that it could be a fun game.
I've been working on the main level of the game, which will be a freighter that is re-fitted for salvage. I've included some images so that you can see what I have so far. This ship was created with a program called Constructor, which is used for the Torque Game engine.
The second picture is a cut-away where I've put numbers to the different parts of the ship.

- The Bridge. The levels below have the crew quarters, med bay, and mess hall.
- The starboard elevator, there is also another on the port side.
- A set of six escape pods, there are also 4 in the rear of the ship for the engineering crew.
- The Forward Cargo hold/drop hold
- Atmospheric Drop Pod for dropping cargo into an atmosphere without needing to enter the atmosphere with the ship. Pods are retrieved with the Pod shuttle (not #8).
- Gantry ways running through the cargo hold
- Cargo hold airlock for transferring cargo between the holds
- Atmo-Ship, which is used for going into an atmosphere and retrieving cargo, and for short trips away from the main vessel.
- Cargo hold of the Atmo-ship, also used to move from the front to the rear of the ship other than using the gantry ways.
- Rear cargo hold, which can receive cargo from the Atmo-ship via special docking clamps. Also may hold the Pod Shuttle when not in use (not sure yet).
- Engine Room
- Workshops and miscellaneous systems

| | Well, I'd like too, but unfortunately constructor can't import objects like that from max, the collision available for the Torque Game Engine isn't very good yet, and very limiting. But, thank you for your offer, I'll take a look at it though, because inspiration is always welcome. |

| | Noper. Torque'll cost you 99$ USD and half that and more for any extensibles you decide to buy. I think constructor is another 50$ or so. Linky |
