So we have been working of the SFM Film Project for some time now, and what do we have to show. Well not much. Why?

i downloaded Anim8or and when i open it i can see the toolbar but the rest of the screen is all black. when i try to make shapes i cant see them. the tutorials on the net show a blue screen with font. what do i do? can anyone help me?
