Part of my long list of New Year's Resolutions was to participate in this site. Blog posting is part of that and this year I intend to see this resolution through to the end. Or beginning? Whatever. I intend to post something at least every Thursday. Barring anything weird, that's how it will go.

Currently, we are working on a segment of the movie where a rebel ship is chased by the Empire and eventually crashes on the planet below. We have about 50 GB of video to composite into this 22 second scene. There are several layers to be imported and adjusted prior to compositing. The planet is a layer. So anyway I've found a bunch of time this weekend to finally finish putting the frames into my Battlestar Endurance hull, the WIP will be updated soon of course with pretty and quite large images.

My new computer is very, very good at handling the mesh now buying a 8800 GTX really helps with real-time rendering and I am amazed at its' proficiency regardless of how many polygons I throw at it.

Anyway I'm a bit late today because of alcohol related merryment on saturday...

Hi to all again.

happy new year first of all. Well I savely arrived on the other side of the atlantic ocean and got myself settled down in Vancouver. VFS will be starting tomorrow and from what I heard of it, it'll be some serious load of work but well it is fun work to do so that isn't a problem

So during one year omiQron might move even slower then it is already eventhough behind screens we re still working on the script and all so I hope to get things going again...
